Google Wave Cinema
Google Wave - the most hyped about invitation-only product on the planet - received a campaign that effectively served as one of its funnest demos. These videos feature most of the product's functionality in an entertaining fashion.
"Google Wave Cinema" strips audio from famous cinematic dialogues, and juxtaposes it with "kinetic typography" from Google Wave. The end result was a passion project that remixed their software. Virtually everyone at Google caught wind of it, including the product managers themselves, who promoted the video as a cool snapshot of the product.
Thousands of people on twitter praised the video's breakthrough marketing concept as the most informative, successful approach to answering the simple question, "What the heck is Google Wave?"
